Dorelle, the agent and friend

I have known Dorelle for approximately 8 years on a personal level...we met at a neighbourhood yoga class. In 2004, I decided to sell my home in North Vancouver and contacted Dorelle. I was amazed at how she really went to work for me and had my house sold in a short period of time and for an excellent price. It required some work prior to being put on the market and Dorelle had contractors who did the required work and were extremely fair in their invoicing. I then went on to purchase another home. During this time, my mother passed away and I was uncertain where to rebuy. Dorelle was so patient...she traveled with me from the Sunshine Coast to Bowen Island to Burnaby and various areas on the North Shore. I finally repurchased in North Vancouver and because of family problems that home unfortunately had to be resold in a very short period of time. I have just moved again into another home in Maple Ridge which Dorelle found for me. Because the current market is moving so fast, we had to be very quick to find something before there were multiple offers on it. I got an excellent rancher in a really nice area and am just delighted with same.

I have known Dorelle for many years but have never had a chance to do business with her until recently. Just recently my father (due to age and health considerations) decided to sell his condo to come and spend his remaining years with me. When asked to write a letter regarding my experience with Dorelle, I couldn' t think of an easier piece to write.

I originally met Dorelle in 2003. I was traveling in the UK at the time and had been corresponding with her only by email and telephone. When I arrived back home and met her for the first time, I instinctively hugged her instead of the typical handshake, as most would do in a business environment. For the three weeks I spent talking to her on the telephone, I felt as if I knew her a lifetime. From there the bond was formed.

Dorelle helped me buy my second home with little time to search through properties. She only showed me places I would absolutely love. Her keen sense of design and knowledge of the market was able to secure me, my perfect home.

More recently, in deciding to move back to Europe, I had little time to settle up finances & sell my home. Dorelle was able to show and sell my home in less than three weeks. I first met Dorelle in 1992, when I was looking for a realtor to help me with my first home purchase.
